Here is a sample menu teaser for our next feature collaboration at the Skyroom launching at the beginning of July… Bonnie-On-Sky, a unique taster of what’s to come from the Bonnie Gull Seafood Shack.

Fresh, simple, sustainable seafood bringing a British seaside restaurant to the city. A shellfish focused bar with buzzing atmosphere and unique cocktails in a classic but quirky British style.

STARTERS

Isle of Lewis mussels steamed with Aspall cider and Cumbrian bacon

Scottish langoustine pickled apple, roast pork belly endive and watercress

Smoked eel, potato pancakes, golden beetroot and horseradish

Queen scallops panfried with Yorkshire chorizo and burnt lemon dressing

 

MAINS

Whole devon crab, brown meat mayonnaise and seasonal chopped salad with rapeseed oil dressing

Sea bream baked in a bag with Pernod, Florence fennel, isle of wight tomato and spinach

Beer battered/herb breadcrumbed Whiting, chunky chips, mushy peas and handmade tomato ketchup

Crispy BBQ mackerel  with gooseberries  and vegetable slaw

Eccles cake with rum and raisin ice cream

English strawberry Eton mess
